Our Mission & Approach
DogHaus Academy, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is committed to empowering individuals through the art of pet styling. We believe that merging education with the human-animal bond can truly transform lives. That’s why we provide an extensive training program aimed at making a difference, particularly for at-risk groups like former foster youth, survivors of domestic violence, people facing work instability, and individuals with disabilities, among others.
Our approach offers dual benefit by equipping students with essential workforce skills for stable employment and enhanced quality of life, while also aiding in the rehabilitation of rescue dogs for adoption. Our instructors strive to instill responsibility, empathy, and confidence in students while enhancing handling, grooming, and socialization skills so our animals can thrive.
